Showcasing new innovations, advancements and developments in the Food Processing sector, the ‘Food & Technology Expo‘ and concurrent show ‘Government Achievements & Schemes Expo‘ were organized successfully by NNS Media Group on 14-15-16 July, 2017 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The expo was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Khadi Village Industries, Textile, MSME, Export Promotion, Shri Satya Dev Pachauri. The Hon’ble Minister visited various stalls and also held discussions with the exhibitors. While speaking on the occasion he said events such as this provide an excellent platform for exchange of technological innovations. Other dignitaries who visited the show are: Shri Swatantradev Singh, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Govt. of U.P., Shri Subodh Uniyal, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Govt. of U.K., Shri Madan Kaushik, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Govt. of U.K., Shri Dharambir Singh, Hon’ble MP & Ex Minister, Haryana, Shri Ramesh Olla, Chairman, Zila Parishad, Dr. Shekhar Basu, Secretary, Atomic Energy, Dr. B.N.S. Murthy, Horticulture Commissioner, Shri M.R. Mahapatra, Director (PR) NEC, GOI, Shri M.R. The ‘Food & Technology Expo’ was supported by NSIC, MIDH, Dept. of Farmers Welfare & Agriculture Development (Govt. of MP), Mangat Ram Dal Mills Pvt. Ltd., Hiero Organic. Exhibitors Number: 120+ exhibitors participated in the ‘Food & Technology Expo’ and concurrent shows. Visitors: The expo received very enthusiastic response from the visitor’s point of view. Thousands of people from more than 23 states of India including far off states like Kerala, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Nagaland, Odisha, Himachal, UP, Punjab, Haryana, etc. came all the way to visit the expo. The visitors used the opportunity to update themselves about the various food products, technologies, schemes, activities and achievements of the government ministries and departments. The majority of exhibitors were satisfied with the response they received at the expo and were happy to confirm that they would continue their participation next year.
