The beginning of India's most adored move music festival follows back to the warm sands of Candolem in Goa 2013. What began as a shoreline side festival observing EDM in its specialty symbol in 2013 developed into a group of craftsmen and fans alike meeting up a seemingly endless amount of time for the love of move music. Vh1 Supersonic throughout the years stopped to be only a music festival, changing into a family.
Created with energy, the Supercrew with Nikhil Chinapa imagined and set-up the main version of Vh1 Supersonic in a month. When electronic music fans could just dream of seeing worldwide acts, the Supercrew did the unimaginable, moved their sleeves and made a rich scene of light, solid and shading for each move music devotee to call their own one of a kind heaven. Vh1 Supersonic gave the nation a world-class encounter like no other. 2017 saw one of the greatest defining moments for the festival when it chose to move the setting to Pune and redo its personality. Indeed, even through its development from an EDM festival to a multi-type festival in 2017, regardless of whether it was Pune or Goa Vh1 Supersonic still guaranteed to hold a similar vibe. The Superfam became greater, more grounded and more assorted in numbers and interests, transforming the festival into a standout amongst the most encouraging occasions facilitated that year.

British band Alt-J, who nabbed the No. 1 position in the UK with their latest album 'This is All Yours,' (which also has a Grammy nomination for 'Best Alternative Music Album') are coming to India for the very first time! The band's debut album An Awesome Wave, was released in 2012 and won the 2012 British Mercury Prize. There is a process we all go through when we first play the new album by a band whose debut we evangelized about. Nerves need to be steadied and fears dispelled before we can pass anything approaching calm and clear-headed judgment. With luck, our ardour will be rekindled, our faith reaffirmed. And all of us will, at some time or another, have had the unhappy experience of dashed hopes and shattered illusions, so there's that niggling worry lurking at the back of our minds, too. Which brings us to This Is All Yours. More specifically, to the opening bars of the opening song, Intro. Joe's voice starts the track, a pointillist, percussive ''la-la-la-la'', Philip Glass-like in its hypnotic simplicity, before Gus joins in with an answering counterpoint. This is not, as its title might imply, a brief throwaway before the album proper begins. Its middle section, introduced by Thom's thundering snare pattern, suddenly asserts itself before the song returns to its becalmed opening theme, only to be once again overwhelmed, by a brutal burst of martial drumming and battle cries. The multiple and diverse elements the band work with on the album might, in the hands of other musicians, so easily have resulted in something unwieldy or overblown. Lyrically, the album balances the cryptic with the sensuous; the erotically charged Warm Foothills - which features vocals from Conor Oberst, Lianne La Havas, Sivu and Marika Hackman - whose central character, Joe teases, ''could be Iris Murdoch, but probably isn't'', is a prime example of the latter. ''On the first record,'' Joe explains, ''most of the lyrics and the narratives had a meaning. But on this one, there are moments where I sing words, but I'm not aware what those words are, if that makes sense. When we actually sat down to do the lyrics, I had to really listen to what I was singing on the tape. You know, 'Ok, I'm saying pharaoh here, and then I think I'm saying bone'. Sometimes, they don't make any sense; I suspect that people are going to come up with some fairly interesting interpretations of those moments.'' In other words, over to us. Which is, Joe says, the point of the album title. ''That's sort of what it means. Once the record is out, it's yours. You own it.'' And we do. Nerves steadied, fears dispelled. Time to dive in.

Born Sean Paul Henriques in Jamaica on January 9, 1973, his musical career took off in 2002 with the success of his second studio album Dutty Rock, which was fuelled by his Billboard Hot 100 chart toppers, Gimmie the Light and Get Busy. Over the span of his career, Sean Paul has worked with quite a number of international and local hip-hop stars such as Busta Rhymes, Beyonc, Rihanna, Keyshia Cole, Kelly Rowland, Juicy J, 2Chainz and Nicki Minaj. He has also partnered with reggae and dancehall acts such as Damian Junior Gong Marley, Wayne Marshall, CeCile, and Tami Chynn.
Aside from being a top notch performer, Sean Paul is an excellent music producer and has created music with a number of top Jamaican artistes. Konshens, JCapri, Cham, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Ding Dong, Vanessa Bling, Mr. Vegas, and Denyque, are just a few of the multi-talented artistes featured on his Full Speed Riddim that was released in early 2015.
Novelist Henry Miller once wrote,Ones destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at things. Since their formation in 1991, iconic multiplatinum Los Angeles rock band Incubus have consciously and continually shifted their perspective with each subsequent album, preserving the spirit that initially drove them and simultaneously challenging themselves as artists and human beings. Their eighth full-length, the aptly titled8[Island Records], proudly upholds that tradition for the quintetBrandon Boyd [vocals], Mike Einziger [guitar, piano, backing vocals], Jos Pasillas II [drums], Chris Kilmore [turntables, keyboards], and Ben Kenney [bass].
As a band, were collectively interested in challenging ourselves and hopefully finding new, innovative ways of writing music, asserts Boyd. That ethos has kept things interesting for us. Its also kept things interesting for listeners everywhere. By 2017, the bands sales exceeded 23 million worldwide, while landing four Top 5 debuts on theBillboardTop 200 and one #1 album. Theyve graced the stages of festivals everywhere fromLollapaloozaandAir + StyletoDownload FestivalandPinkpopin addition to touring alongside the likes of Linkin Park, OutKast, Moby, Janes Addiction, Queens of the Stone Age, and many more. After the release of 2015sTrust Fall (Side A)EP and a packed summer amphitheater tour with Deftones, the boys once again treaded uncharted territory. They collaborated with a dynamic talent behind the board as 8 would be co-produced and mixed by Skrillex [Justin Bieber, A$AP Rocky, Lady Gaga]. In January 2016, Boyd and Einziger holed up in a Venice Beach shack, building Much of the musical framework in a weird man cave, laughs Boyd.
By fall, the five musicians regrouped to flesh out ideas, recording at Jim Henson Studios and at Einzigers personal studio. As the vision came into focus during early 2017, Incubus added another level by enlisting the perspective of longtime friend Skrillex for co-production and mixing. Einziger had spent the past few years, exponentially expanding his personal musical palette. Not only did he oversee production for The Internets Feel Good and produce three songs for Tyler, The Creators chart-topping Cherry Bomb, but he also co-wrote Aviciis six-times platinum smash Wake Me Up and served as musical director and performer for a much talked-about 2016 GRAMMY Awards performance of Where Are Now by Skrillex, Diplo, and Justin Bieber. After lunch one day, Einziger played Skrillex some mixes, and a whole new world opened up as the producer added his magic to 8.
It evolved organically out of my friendship with Skrillex, Einziger elaborates. Incubus is all about friendship. We transferred the synergy of working together into what the band was doing. As we put the final touches on everything, Skrillex brought another level to the album. As a result, the eleven tracks comprising8assemble a mosaic reflective of the bands current mindset. Unease translates to unpredictable guitar riffs that blur the lines between time signatures as cosmic rhythmic transmissions orbit around an epicenter of combustible emotion. Each lyric encodes a parable or what might be a hidden message. The first single Nimble Bastard leapfrogs from a rattling guitar snap into an anthemic refrain. Loneliest echoes with an existential rumination on solitude over an airy beat and hypnotic guitars. Undefeated struts along via a bombastic stomp before culminating on an uplifting chant, while the spacey Familiar Faces instantly enchants.
The soothing instrumental soundscape of Make No Sound In The Digital Forest illuminates their cinematic side with delicate chimes, simmering drums, and warbling tones. A dial-up modem signals the explosion of Love In A Time of Surveillance as the one-two punch of No Fun and Throw Out The Map tap into a tsunami of distortion and punk-y freedom. Glitterbomb represents the glorious push-and-pull of8, teetering between heavenly harmony and a dramatic twinge.
8arrives at a significant milestone for Incubusreleasing exactly 20 years since their major label debut S.C.I.E.N.C.E.landed back in 1997. A little older, a lot wiser, quite tighter, but equally ready to challenge themselves and rock music at large, Incubus change their perspective once more in 2017. All the time, I hear from fans that our music was the backdrop of their first experience with love or important in getting them through a hard time, says Einziger. Thats the highest compliment. When we finished8, we were flooded with this wave of gratitude, Boyd leaves off. The fact that so many people are willing to come on this weird ride with us is really humbling. Were filled with this sense of awe around it. Were very happy to share this record with everyone, and we hope they like it.
Moombahton pioneer, proud Jim Carrey disciple, platinum-selling DJ and producer, host and creator of TBS Digital's One Deeper Talks, actor, and all-around nice guy Dillon Francis continues to disrupt entertainment in all forms. By 2017, the Los Angeles-born artist had solidified himself as a veritable social media-era renaissance man.
Averaging over 4 million monthly Spotify streams, he achieved a string of smashes, including the #1 Dance Radio Airplay hit ''Anywhere'' [feat. Will Heard], ''Candy'' [feat. Snappy Jit], #1 Billboard Dance Club Songs chart-topper ''Coming Over'' with Kygo [feat. James Hersey], and the RIAA platinum-certified ''Get Low'' with DJ Snake -- which surpassed 500 million worldwide streams. Francis initially made history in 2012 as ''the first moombahton artist to achieve the number-one spot on Beatport'' with the Something, Something Awesome EP. In 2014, his major label debut album, Money Sucks, Friends Rule [Mad Decent/Columbia Records], landed on Rolling Stone's ''Top Electronic Albums of 2014'' list and boasted a myriad of diverse collaborators such as Twista, Brendon Urie of Panic! At the Disco, Major Lazer, and more. Meanwhile, 2015's follow-up This Mixtape Is Fire EP bowed at #1 on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart.
He stands out as a festival favorite, igniting the stages of Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra, TomorrowWorld, Electric Zoo, and more as well as touching down for shows in the UK, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, France, Australia, and beyond. 2017 saw him reprise his residency at the Wynn LasVegas for the second year in a row alongside fellow heavy hitters Skrillex, A-Trek, Alesso, David Guetta, RL Grime, Virgil Abloh, and more.
He consistently engages a social media following of 1.6 million on Instagram, 1.5 million on Facebook, and 921K on Twitter with a flurry of hilarious and hysterical content as well as his YouTube series DJ World. Assuming roles such as affluent millennial annoyance Becky, Australian teen Treva, fashion tastemaker Klaude, and of course German dance floor impresario DJ Hanzel, he keeps his audience guessing and laughing. Hanzel would not only open multiple gigs, but he also serves as the host for the comedic series One Deeper Talks, featuring revealing interviews with the likes of Calvin Harris, Kaskade, and more on TBS Digital. The real Francis' music has piped through Furious 7, Entourage, Neighbors, Zoolander 2, and more. Along the way, the artist graced the cover of DJ Mag and appeared in Entertainment/Weekly, Billboard, Variety, Deadline, and many others.
Now, he shakes things up once again with his 2017 single ''Say Less'' [feat. G-Eazy]. The first release under his own IDGAFOS independent label, the song merges G-Eazy's clever and catchy bars with Francis's signature moombahton spark and charming unpredictability.
Now over a decade into his career as a globally touring DJ, there's hardly an accolade Joseph Capriati hasn't achieved. Capriati's brand of slick and emotive techno, delivered with precision, flair and infectious energy, has become a staple highlight of the global club and festival circuit.

Hamburg-based duo Adana Twins welcomes Watergate Records to their global team, with an already wildly successful release on the Watergate Affairs 02 EP, entitled Etah, and an upcoming solo EP set to hit stores in May. The boys have also received great praise from Hamburg-comrade Solomun, who has played their track Uncompromising in every set for months, including a pre-release taster at BPM Festival. In addition to upcoming Watergate Showcase tours, the pair will continue their legendary ALLNIIGHT event series after visits to some of the best clubs in the world, with many more to come.
Straight outta Hamburg house city, Adana Twins helped secure their homes reputation for deep grooves with a series of early EPs that have made them among the most buzz-worthy acts to emerge from the German media capital. Placing repeatedly in the pole position on both Resident Advisor and Beatport charts, the duo comprised Take It Easy and Friso has found its way into the record bags and Traktor set-ups of the worlds top DJs, while comfortably establishing its own sound where sleek beats and clever sampling are only a small piece of a bigger musical vision that began to form during a previous era.
Formed in 2006, the diversity of the pair led Adana Twins to embrace two unique epithets since inception. Take It Easy spent his youth head-nodding to laid-back hip-hop like Black Star and Dilated Peoples, while Friso was a follower of techno since the ripe age of 10. Together they would enamor club-goers around the world with their very own musical fingerprint, beyond mere analog crunch.
With a sound perfectly poised to seize the moment, Adana Twins delivered their first hits, Everyday and Strange, on Exploited in 2012, to a global scene that was ready to look in Hamburgs direction. The tracks would go international, being played by the likes of A-Trak, Pete Tong, Soul Clap, and Wolf+Lamb to name just a few, and would lead to remix requests for labels such as Get Physical, Noir Records and Kitsune.

The album further deepened B.R.E.E.D's presence in the west coast bass music scene and it has been supported and reviewed by entities like Rolling Stone, VH1 and EDM.com amongst others. Their next EP, 'Forever' is set to release as a late summer 2014 release, and this EP truly exhibits the new compositions and forward-pushing sounds they have been working on in the studio. With the duo's innovative sampling and vocals, soul-motion funk, exotic instrumentation and orchestrated bass, B.R.E.E.D's influence has been strong wherever they've dropped their beats, and they will only continue to expand their influence with each release they have and every crowd they infiltrate.

Dax grew up listening to the UK sounds of Jungle, Drum n Bass and Garage. Being heavily influenced by Drum n Bass heroes like Goldie and Bad Company, his love for the underground meant he soon started to DJ on pirate radios at an early age of 15 whilst he was still at school. He became an avid vinyl collector buying from his local record store ''Black Market'' on a weekly basis, whilst at the same time producing and crafting his sound. His first vinyl releases would come in 2005 on old Jungle labels like Mickey Finn's ''Urban Takeover'' under alias ''Dangerous'' and his own imprint back then ''Xplicit Sound.'' Following on from this Dax went on to discover the sounds of Techno during one summer spent in Ibiza. From this point on his passion for cutting edge 4 by 4 beats took over but the old Jungle influences are still heard today in his DJ sets and productions.

GABRIEL AND DRESDEN
The beginning of their story isn't much different from any other in the industry... Josh Gabriel was an aspiring producer at WMC handing out his first vinyl record, and Dave Dresden was scouting new music for Pete Tong's radio show. But what came from this chance encounter would change dance music forever, as unbeknownst to them their lucrative partnership would turn into one of the most accomplished acts of the decade, with seven IDMA award wins (including two for ''Best American DJ''),
19 Billboard #1 Dance Chart hits, and a loyal fan following that would become their biggest inspiration. Though at the time they were industry leaders in their own right - with Josh's degree in music composition from California Institute of the Arts, engineering recording sessions at top LA studios and designing music software applications in Silicon Valley, while Dave got his 10,000 hours as a club DJ, radio programmer, A&R-man and journalist -- together they combined this expertise to became an unstoppable, tour de force in dance music.
For over 14 years Gabriel & Dresden have ignored trends and instead chased meaning in their productions. The quintessential definition of what they've dubbed ''Emotional Dance Music,'' their candid and unreserved approach has spawned an expansive discography of timeless classics for their fans to revel in, including ''Tracking Treasure Down,'' ''As The Rush Comes'' (#11 UK Top40), ''Beautiful Things'' and ''Dangerous Power,'' as well as newer hits such as ''Tomorrow Comes'' and ''Rise Up'' from their
Organized Nature label. Everybody from Britney Spears and Madonna to The Killers, Annie Lennox, Sarah McLachlan, Tisto, Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond have sought them out for official remixes, while the likes of Entourage, Nip/Tuck and Rockstar Games have licensed their music to enhance their visual narratives. Their incredible contributions to music as a whole has both inspired and created fans out of many of today's biggest DJs and producers, and carved them a place in electronic
dance music history. They entered the prestigious DJ Mag Top 100 poll in 2003 entering at #43, steadily climbing each year and peaking at #20 in 2006. It's not easy in this industry for songs to stand the test of time, but Gabriel & Dresden have consistently proven that they can create music that moves us in every way possible.
Growing up on a goat farm in the desert of Arizona might not be considered the typical American upbringing for the next big DJ and producer, but then again Ghastly isnt your typical American artist. Many have described the genre bending musician as a partially insane young man with a dark sense of humor. Politely abominable and casually destructive, he wields the catch phrase born to die as a mantra to his chaotic lifestyle. His sets have been heralded as Energetic and eclectic live performances which are sometimes followed by odd speeches about the abnormalities of life, regretful sexual encounters, and well cooked food. With such a diverse personality and rapport for his fans, its clear that Ghastly has one thing on his mind, and that's to change the world.
After entering the music scene and practicing his talents with touring metal bands such as The Irish Front, David Lee Crow finally found his calling with dance music, and it inspired him to pack up and head to Venice Beach, California to live out of his van and pursue a new career in bass-heavy music. It didnt take long for him to find his place in the scene, as Ghastly quickly claimed himself a position as Bassrush Resident DJ at Exchange LA, and has also secured a number of releases on chart-topping labels such as OWSLA, Buygore, and Dim Mak to name a few.
Ghastly's approachable yet hard-hitting style ushers a forward-thinking dynamic that is not often seen in todays saturated scene, and his solo productions and collaborations present an unequivocal level of determination and finesse that fuses multiple styles together. Uniquely creating hybrid blends of house, trap, and dubstep into a pot-pourri of bass, the young producer definitively pushes the boundaries of the entire EDM scene today, and a handful of the industrys finest have recognized his potential including Skrillex, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Tchami, DJ Snake, Datsik, Borgore, Zomboy, and Zeds Dead. With slew of mentally-stimulating originals and physically-altering collaborations under his belt, such as his original Miami Connection with Jauz and single Crank It with Mija & Lil Jon, its safe to say that Ghastly is on a mission to redefine dance music for all

DJ MoCity a.k.a. Mohammed Abood, founding member of India's own Reggae Rajahs, is back home again, packing a bag full of fresh beats and heavy bass lines! It's been 2 years since we last saw the global jetsetter, who's been hopping around all over the world with his cultural message from Malaysia, U.A.E., Turkey, Iraq and elsewhere. No doubt, MoCity was a key player in developing the currently blossoming Indian indie music scene, and the absence of this dynamo of cultural and social energy left a gaping hole that couldn't be filled by just anyone.

One of the most impressive young leaders of the American dance music scene, California-based Ookay (pronounced okay) exploded onto the scene when both his freshman and sophomore releases on Ultra Records charted in the top 10 on Beatport. Since then, hes shown no sign of slowing down, working with some of the greatest producers in electronic music while developing a signature style that weaves across genres, reflecting influences as varied as Borgore, Diplo, DJ Snake, Showtek, Deorro, TJR, Boaz Van de Beatz, Valentino Kahn, Waveracer, Cashmere Cat, Lindsay Lowend, Skrillex, Lido, and Wiwek while always returning to a hard-hitting trap beat.
The producer and DJ has racked up credits and quickly made a name for himself with remixes of tracks like Congrorocks Bless Di Nation Ft. Sean Paul and Steve Aoki, Chris Lake & Tujamos Boneless. Ookay teamed up with iconic producer Diplo to remix Aviciis You Make Me, and his recent remix of Kanye by the Chainsmokers on Republic/Dim Mak Records layers his signature mix of dance music and hip-hop over fluttering pop vocals. His side project Coaster serves as an outlet for his love of alternative dance and house music, proving Ookay to be no one-trick trap pony.
His much-anticipated spring single ''Bouncer,'' produced with the venerable Dutch duo Showtek, hit the top 3 Beatport overall chart after its March 2014 release and was a staple on summer festival stages across the country. Ookay has also quickly become known as a charismatic performer both on and off stage, appearing at venues like EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo, Red Rocks, and TomorrowWorld. His live shows are known for sleek transitions, sensitive song selections, and entertaining MCing from the booth. Hes also no slouch on Twitter, commenting on everything from the struggle to Shazam an unknown song to LAs Korean BBQ scene.
Its no surprise that Ghost, out November 10 on Dim Mak Records, is one of the most exciting dance music releases of the fall. Promised to be a blend of listening tracks as well as club bangers, it fulfills that goal. Ghost is one of the too-rare records that will bring you from your morning commute, with the meditative Ghost and Matters, to 4 AM on the dance floor losing it to Egg Drop Soup.
The Ghost Tour this fall and winter is sure to blow up dance floors across America, and truly solidify Ookays status as one of Americas premier young electronic artists. With support from such icons as Showtek and Diplo as well as Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Major Lazer, Borgore, Nervo, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Deorro, TJR, Krewella and more, it seems certain that Ookays star will only continue to rise.

Producer Seven Lions has never had a problem breaking rules and transcending musical boundaries to satisfy his creative vision. Catching his break after winning a Beatport remix contest in 2012 with his dubstep-focused version of Above & Beyonds You Got to Go, Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, garnered early support from the likes of Skrillex and his OWSLA label. 2013 tour dates with Porter Robinson and Krewella pushed Montalvo and his genre-bending production style to the forefront of the modern electronic music scene.
Putting sheer technical production prowess to work in soulful, deep, hybridized creations all distinctly his own, the multi-talented musician is single-handedly changing the sonic landscape for future generations to come by bridging the gap between the soaring, ethereal vibe of trance and intensely adrenalizing bass music. His productions have seen stages at world-renowned festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival (New York and Las Vegas), Electric Forrest, Electric Zoo, South by Southwest, and HARD.
After several successful releases under the OWSLA label (his debut EP, Days to Come, reached #2 on the iTunes Dance charts), Montalvo released his highly anticipated 2014 follow-up EP, Worlds Apart, on Republic Records dance imprint Casablanca. Containing several notable features which include Ellie Goulding and Tove Lo, Worlds Apart debuted at #1 on the iTunes Dance charts, and the title track was also featured in Billboards Top 10 Electronic/Dance Songs of 2014 list. The EP also featured the smash hit and canonical dance track Strangers, featuring superstar vocalist Tove Lo. Strangers was a definitive track in what was perhaps the peak of American electronic dance music, and solidified Seven Lions as one of the scenes premier artists.

His tracks 'Scattered Light Tunnel', 'Cursed', 'Alarm Symphony' and 'Under the Light' have charted as high as Top 30 on the Beatport Glitch Hop and Dubstep Charts as well as have been featured under ''Beatport Must Hear Dubstep tracks'' indicates that his blend of diverse drum patterns, heavy bass drops and non- conventional melodies is here to reach out and map the globe with his music.
